Agartala, 11 th November 2025: During the ongoing investigation into the Jirania “Phensedyl” drug racket case, crime branch have now raided the residence of a suspected kingpin in the region. The accused, Apu Das, a resident of Bormura area under Kalamchoura police station, has long been allegedly involved in illegal narcotics trade while maintaining a lavish lifestyle.

According to local sources, Apu Das is known to have close ties with influential figures and is considered a “favorite worker” of a local political leader. Allegations suggest that he managed to continue his illegal operations for years by manipulating local authorities and using his political connections.
