Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos' space technology company, designed the New Glenn to compete with fellow billionaire Elon Musk's SpaceX Falcon rockets in commercial orbital spaceflight ventures.

New Glenn was initially set to get off the ground Sunday, Nov. 9, before poor weather forced Blue Origin to postpone the launch attempt to as early as Wednesday, Nov. 12.
