Legendary drummer Mick Fleetwood thrilled fans with a surprise appearance at the University of Southern California’s football game. He performed Tusk live with the Trojan Marching Band during halftime. Mick Fleetwood’s performance delighted the crowd as the 78-year-old drummer played energetically while wearing a golden Trojan-inspired helmet.
Originally recorded by Fleetwood Mac in 1979, Tusk has a longstanding connection with USC. Fleetwood asked 112 members of the Trojan Marching Band to join him in recording the song at Dodger Stadium. According to Parade, the track later appeared at The Forum and on Fleetwood Mac’s 1997 live album, The Dance. This recent Mick Fleetwood performance honored that legacy while thrilling a new generation of fans.
