My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving–just slightly above April 1st, and that’s saying something.

There’s something oddly heartwarming about gathering with people you love (or tolerate), pretending canned cranberry sauce is gourmet and acting like you enjoy deviled eggs.
It’s the one day a year when eating four kinds of pie is acceptable, and no one blinks when you’re asleep on the couch by 4 p.m. And, let’s be honest, watching the Dallas Cowboys play is a core part of the tradition.
