SHREVEPORT, La. -- As the federal government shutdown continues — even with a potential deal moving through Congress — travelers across the country are still facing widespread flight delays and cancellations.
While the bulk of disruptions have been concentrated at larger airports, Shreveport Regional Airport has also been feeling the impact.
On Friday, airlines canceled three of the 21 scheduled flights, while Saturday saw no cancellations. Sunday brought one canceled flight, and two more were canceled Monday — a small number overall, but roughly 10 percent of the airport’s outbound traffic.
