A Louisiana adult is the third person in the state with a confirmed case of measles this year, state health officials confirmed late Monday.

The infected person contracted the virus during international travel, and the public was potentially exposed to that person Sunday evening at Armstrong New Orleans Airport, the Louisiana Department of Health said in a news release. The traveler with measles came through Concourse B and was outside the airport’s security checkpoint between 5-8:30 p.m.
