A beloved early-2000s rock band suddenly dropped out of a tour hours before they were set to get onstage.

The tour will move along , nevertheless.

Parade reports that the All-American Rejects — the Oklahoma-hailing foursome whom many might recognize from hits such as “Dirty Little Secret” and “Gives You Hell” — dropped out as the opener for the Jonas Brothers before their concert in Buffalo, New York, on Sunday. The group was scheduled to perform in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

“Hey Rejects fam,” reads a band statement posted to Instagram . “Unfortunately, [lead singer] Tyson [Ritter] has to take some vocal rest, and we will be stepping away from the remainder of the Jonas Brothers tour. His voice needs a little time to bounce back so he doesn’t do any real damage.
