LONDON — The Londoner, the luxury hotel by Leicester Square, is looking to stand out from the competitive Christmas tree game this year with romance and innovation created by fashion designer Susan Fang.

Instead of a traditional tree sourced from the woods, adorned with old-fashioned decorations, the hotel on Wednesday will unveil a futuristic tree-like installation made of layers of transparent bubbles, iridescent spheres, floating pink glass-like blooms, and delicate 3D-printed flowers, all signatures of Fang’s runway creations in recent years.
