That being said, there has never been a film dedicated to the wonderful world of ping pong... until now. Following hot on the heels of his brother's MMA biopic The Smashing Machine , Josh Safdie is picking up the directorial paddle for Marty Supreme , a Timothée Chalamet led A24 joint based on the life of legendary table tennis champ Marty Reisman.
