CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace is requesting federal and state oversight committees investigate what she describes as inappropriate surveillance by TSA agents and Charleston International Airport security personnel.

Mace said information from current and former airport employees shows she was subjected to mandatory surveillance by airport security personnel during every visit to the airport.

“And it’s also been alleged that TSA was targeting me regarding my, I would say, the best way to describe it would be regarding my clearance through TSA and the way that I entered in through the airport,” Mace said. “If any of this turns out to be true, I expect there to be a full investigation into individuals who participated, collaborated, coordinated in this alleged effort to targ
