Penn State veteran wideout Trebor Pena looked like a true No. 1 option in the Nittany Lions’ passing game last Saturday.

Pena, the Syracuse transfer who caught 84 passes in 2024, caught six passes for 99 yards in PSU’s 27-24 loss to No. 2 Indiana at Beaver Stadium.

Pena has 32 receptions for 331 yards and a touchdown in nine games. One of his catches against the Hoosiers went for 43 yards.

Penn State quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer also looked Koby Howard’s way a couple of times vs. IU.

Howard, a true freshman receiver, caught both of his targets for 28 yards, with a long of 22. He has four catches on four targets for 68 yards in the Lions’ last three games against Iowa, Ohio State and Indiana.
