SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - A suspect is in custody after a manhunt prompted three Tri-State schools and the schools’ district office to go into lockdown on Tuesday morning.

Maple Dale Elementary, E.H. Greene Intermediate School, Sycamore Junior High and the Sycamore District Office were all placed on lockdown at 9:30 a.m. due to a law enforcement operation in Blue Ash, according to the district.

The lockdown was lifted around 11:30 a.m.

All students and staff are safe.

According to a spokesperson for the City of Blue Ash, police, along with other agencies, were assisting ICE agents in the manhunt.

The spokesperson could not say why the suspect is wanted.
