Oscar Isaac would consider a return to Disney’s Star Wars universe, but under one condition.

In a new interview with GQ , the Golden Globe nominee and star of Guillermo Del Toro’s new Frankenstein revealed that he would be open to reprising his Star Wars role after saying he wouldn’t for years.

Nothing seems too imminent, though, considering recent events.

“Although right now I’m not so open to working with Disney,” Isaac told GQ. “But if they can kinda figure it out and, you know, not succumb to fascism, that would be great.”

Isaac debuted as X-wing fighter pilot Poe Dameron in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens and reprised the role in 2017’s The Last Jedi and 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker. He also voiced his character in the Star Wars Resistance animated series.
