INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after one person was critically injured in a shooting on Indianapolis' near east side Tuesday.

The shooting was reported around noon Nov. 11 in the 3700 block of Fletcher Avenu e, near South Sherman Drive and English Avenue.

Responding officers located a person shot, who was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, a department spokesperson said.

No additional information on the circumstances of the shooting was immediately available.
