Bristol City's Championship rivals, Swansea City , have parted company with head coach Alan Sheehan ahead of their trip to Ashton Gate to face the Robins, after a disappointing start to the Championship season.

The Swans confirmed on Tuesday afternoon, in the wake of their 4-1 home defeat to Ipswich Town on Saturday, that Sheehan had been relieved of his duties early in the November international break. Swansea currently sit 18th in the table, seven points clear of the relegation zone, having won just four of their opening 15 league games.
