OMAK — Omak City Council met for a regular meeting Monday, Oct. 20, where councilmember Steve Clark was affirmed to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee Board, (SWAC).

A closed record decision regarding LP-01-2024 Highlands Long Plat was approved. Building Official Tyler Wells reported that a 31-lot long plat application was received, and a Planning Commission public hearing was held on Oct. 7, where it was recommended that the city approve the preliminary approval.

This property is north of the current Wildwood subdivision, according to council draft minutes.

The council also unanimously approved Ordinance 1958, the annexation of parcels #3426264009 and #3426264013. Building Official Wells explained that a Legal Description has been sent off for review and will need to go to the Office o
