After starring in Elf, one of the most iconic holiday films of all time, Zooey Deschanel is returning to the genre in Merv, a rom-com also starring Daredevil: Born Again actor Charlie Cox. Prime Video has released the first trailer for Merv, which sees former couple Anna (Deschanel) and Russ (Cox) go on a vacation together to cheer up the dog they share custody of, Merv. The film will premiere on Prime Video on December 10, 2025.
