Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport continues to see dozens of flight cancellations each day as the restrictions enforced by the Federal Aviation Authority due to the government shutdown continue to bite.

Although it's looking like a deal to end the shutdown is progressing through Congress, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has warned that air travel could reduce "to a trickle" by Thanksgiving if an agreement to reopen the government isn't reached soon.

Duffy implemented a rule starting on Friday that America's 40 largest airports had to reduce air traffic by 4% initially, gradually rising to 10% as a safety measure as air traffic controllers worked unpaid.
