The first major winter storm of the season has swept across parts of the United States , bringing over a foot of snow to areas in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan. More than 200 million people are experiencing this early winter blast, which includes not only heavy snowfall but also the coldest temperatures of the season.
The lake effect snow has significantly impacted these states, with additional snowfall expected in upstate New York , including Buffalo and Syracuse. The snow in New York is anticipated to continue through Tuesday (November 11) and into Wednesday morning, potentially adding two to four inches before it transitions to rain.
