A Pennsylvania man has been charged with soliciting sexual contact online from someone he thought was a Lebanon County girl but was actually an agent with the state attorney general’s office.

Eric Gillespie, 57, has been charged in Lebanon County with three counts of unlawful contact with a minor and a single count of criminal use of a communication facility, according to online court records.

Gillespie was denied bail after a district judge cited “flight risk and public safety concerns,” Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday said in a statement.

The judge remanded Gillespie to the Lebanon County Prison while he awaits a Nov. 20 preliminary hearing.
