India on Tuesday hit back strongly at Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif after he accused “Indian-sponsored terror proxies” of carrying out the suicide attack outside a district court in Islamabad that killed at least 12 people and injured 27 others — without offering any proof.

Shehbaz Sharif also blamed India for a separate attack on a cadet college near the Afghanistan border, calling both incidents “the worst examples of Indian state terrorism in the region.” However, he provided no evidence to back his claims.

In a sharp response, India dismissed the allegations as “baseless and unfounded,” describing them as a “predictable tactic” by Pakistan to divert attention from its internal turmoil.
