Authorities believe the burglary at the crypts happened sometime between Nov. 1 and Nov. 6.
According to the police department, the bodies were taken from the crypts during the burglary.
According to WNEP, the mausoleum has been deemed unsafe for years. A decade ago, township officials said the mausoleum was unsafe due to the roof falling in, toxic mold and bugs inside the building.
At that time, it was said to be the resting place for around 50 people.
