LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - On this Veterans Day, one organization is making sure military service members, veterans and their families know they’re not alone.

Through awareness, education and action, the Fayette County Military Suicide Prevention Coalition works to make sure no one who served feels invisible.

One of the ways the organization says they work to prevent suicide is by hosting resource fairs. Organizers say every day more than 17 veterans die by suicide. On Veterans Day they say it’s so important for them to know their dedication to our country matters.
