A lack of communication prevented employees of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya District Hospital, who are employed under the Uttarakhand Purva Sainik Kalyan Nigam Limited (UPNL), from joining the strike of UPNL workers on Tuesday. Nonetheless, the district hospital officials state that they are prepared to manage any potential disruptions should the UPNL workers decide to boycott work in the future. UPNL employees began their protests on Monday, halting work in response to longstanding demands that have yet to be addressed, and this protest continued into Tuesday. Many workers at the district hospital are employed under UPNL; however, they did not participate in the boycott.
