HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — Officials are alerting the public after a rescue truck and a wrecker were hit by drivers in two separate crashes on Monday in Henderson County.
According to Henderson City-County Rescue Squad, the first incident occurred at Sand Lane and Green Street, where a wrecker driver was attempting to load a crashed vehicle.
While attempting to load the vehicle, officials say the wrecker was hit by another vehicle. Thankfully, no one was injured.
Henderson City-County Rescue Squad said the second incident happened on the new section on I-69, as crews were responding to a report of a crash with injuries.
Rescue Truck #752 arrived at the scene and was set up with its emergency lights on to help divert traffic from the lane where the crash happened. Officials say that
