Handwara, Nov 11: In a united stand against terrorism, candlelight vigils were held in Handwara and Ganderbal on Tuesday evening to condemn the victims of the Delhi blasts that claimed several innocent lives.

In Handwara, the Civil Society Forum led the vigil at Main Chowk, joined by members of the Trade Federation, local transporters, students, and other prominent citizens. Participants carried banners reading “Stop Terrorism” and “Stop Innocent Killings,” lighting candles in memory of those lost.

Speaking at the event, activist Mudasir Tantray described the attack as an assault on humanity. “No religion teaches violence or the killing of innocents. Those behind this brutal act must face strict punishment,” he said.
