A collision in West Lothian triggered delays for drivers heading onto the M8 .

The incident was first reported at around 6.18pm on Tuesday, November 11. Emergency services were called to the scene.

The M8 was restricted eastbound between junctions two and three. Drivers were told to expect 'longer than usual' journey times'.

The condition of those involved is not currently known. On their site, Traffic Scotland said: "The M8 is restricted eastbound between Junction 3 and Junction 2 due to a road traffic collision.

Drivers should use caution on approach and should expect longer than usual journey times."
