The Cleveland Browns have waived CB Tre Avery. The club also signed DE K.J. Henry and DE Ochaun Mathis (pronounced: oh-SHAWN) to the practice squad and released DT Simeon Barrow Jr. from the practice squad.

Avery appeared in six games and recorded five special teams tackles.

Henry (6-4, 255) is in his third NFL season out of Clemson. Originally a fifth-round pick by Washington in 2023, Henry has appeared in 14 career games with three starts with the Commanders (2023), Bengals (2024) and Cowboys (2024). He has recorded 22 career tackles and 2.5 sacks. Henry spent time on the practice squad with the Browns earlier this season. He will wear No. 90.
