On Tuesday at 12:19 p.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Wednesday 4 p.m. until Thursday 7 a.m. for Jackson County.
The weather service adds, “Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph possible.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result,” comments the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure light outdoor objects like tents or empty trash bins.”
