On Tuesday at 12:19 p.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Thursday 1 a.m. until Saturday 1 a.m. for Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.

The weather service comments, “Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result,” states the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure light outdoor objects like tents or empty trash bins.”
