Three decades after the death of a California man, the mother of his children and her ex-boyfriend have been charged with murder.

Zachary Jackson was fatally shot in his home in Hayward, Calif., on June 17, 1993, according to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office.

Now, 32 years later, prosecutors have charged two suspects: Veronica Fonseca, 56, and Anthony Fox, 54.

At the time of Jackson's murder, according to a report from KTVU , Fonseca and Fox were dating.
