“We honour their courage, their sacrifice and their unwavering commitment to freedom and peace, the freedom and peace we long for,” Pastor Clayton Puddicombe said during the opening prayer.
Puddicombe acted as the padre, while the trumpeter was Isaiah Matson and the piper was Landis Van der Meer.
