JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Tuesday that after a successful knee surgery, rookie wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter will miss the remainder of the 2025 NFL season.
Hunter, who was placed on the injury reserve list on Oct. 31, had suffered a non-contact knee injury during practice the day before.
The Jaguars say that on Tuesday morning, Hunter underwent a successful surgery repairing a lateral collateral ligament in his right knee. Hunter received treatment in Dallas by Dr. Dan Cooper and the team's physician, Dr. Kevin Kaplan.
While he will be sidelined for the remainder of the season, the Jaguars say that Hunter is expected to return to "full football activities" within six months.
The Jaguars take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday at 1 p.
