Tom Bergeron is an American television personality best known for hosting two of the biggest competition shows on TV: Dancing with the Stars (DWTS ) and America’s Funniest Home Videos (AFV) . He took over as DWTS host in its very first season in 2005 and remained for 15 seasons until 2020, when the network announced in July that they were “moving in a new creative direction.”
