HALIFAX - Thomas Young opened the Remembrance Day ceremony in Halifax today with stories of Indigenous and Black soldiers.

Young, the former chairman of the Nova Scotia Royal Canadian Legion and ceremony MC, says he chose to highlight those stories because they may have been overlooked in years past.
