BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) - For two decades, the MercyOne Genesis Hospice Remembrance Tree-Lighting has been a community tradition that ushers in the holiday season and celebrates the memories of loved ones who have passed.
The tree-lighting ceremony will be on Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. outside the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, 2546 Tech Drive, event organizers said. Family and friends are welcome to gather for the emotional service of readings, music and moments of reflection.
Parking will be available at 2535 Maplecrest Road, next to the hospice house, event organizers said. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and dress for the weather. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available. A shuttle will be available from the parking lot.
