A gentle pre-winter snowfall seemed to gain momentum as The Last Post sounded at Brockville’s Cenotaph on Tuesday morning, and local veterans reflected on the many winters some of their comrades never knew.
The cold and snow were no deterrent to Brockvillians Tuesday, as a sizable crowd gathered at and around the corner of King Street West and Court House Avenue to honour those who served, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The Brockville ceremony was one of many Remembrance Day events held across the region.
