CHAPEL HILL — UNC football coach Bill Belichick says he isn’t focused on the NFL, he’s focused on Wake Forest.
During his weekly press conference on Nov. 11 inside the Kenan Football Center, Belichick was asked about the opening head coaching opportunity with the New York Giants , who fired Brian Daboll on Nov. 10.
“Getting ready for Wake Forest. That’s all I got this week,” said Belichick , whose Tar Heels (4-5, 2-3 ACC) face the Demon Deacons (6-3, 3-3) in Winston-Salem on Nov. 15 (4:30 p.m., CW Network).
Belichick was asked a follow-up question about how he addresses his future with current players and recruits.
