Late last year, Netflix signed an output deal with the major Korean broadcaster SBS , promising to deliver new and older content from SBS’s fantastic library. After an extended wait, we finally have our first large batch of SBS K-dramas coming to Netflix US, including Dr. Romantic , Doctor John , The Penthouse: War in Life , and more!

SBS is one of the largest broadcasters in South Korea and is responsible for one of the most popular terrestrial television stations, SBS TV. Millions of Korean citizens watch the station every day. The deal Netflix signed last year was to provide subscribers with new content, which we’ve already seen in 2025 with The Winning Try , Queen Mantis, and Dynamite Kiss , which arrives on November 12, 2025.
