ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A teenager was sentenced to serve 65 years in prison on Tuesday for the deadly December 2023 crash that killed six members of the same Alpharetta family and left three others critically injured in Texas.

The deadly wreck happened after the Texas Department of Public Safety said that 18-year-old Luke Resecker was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and swerved into oncoming traffic, where he collided head-on with a 2021 Honda Odyssey, of which everyone inside was from Alpharetta, other than the driver, who was a cousin to the family.
