An Edinburgh eye expert who kept the A-list actors working on the Frankenstein movie 'camera ready' has given a behind-the-scenes look at the Netflix hit.

Heather Muir, a contact lens technician at Cameron Optometry, was on the set of Guillermo del Toro's project alongside an 'outstanding' prosthetics and makeup team. She was there to ensure safe insertion and removal of cosmetic lenses used on the shoot.

This is the second involvement in a major production Heather has been a part of after being called in for filming of another Netflix hit, Department Q .

This time she worked with Jacob Elordi, who plays Frankenstein's monster, as well as young actor Christian Convery, who plays young Victor. Heather branded the experience 'amazing'.
