ALLENDALE, Mich. — Grand Valley State University announced the expansion of a program aimed at assisting current and former military members obtain a college education.
The GVSU Military Promise guarantees admission to Grand Valley State to all service members who have committed to serve, are serving or have honorably served. The program also provides a $500 per-semester grant toward tuition for service members on active duty in the Reserves or National Guard.
GVSU President Philomena Mantella announced the expansion at GVSU's Veterans Day Luncheon.
