DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. —
Two elementary-aged students in western Kentucky are being disciplined after officials found they were in possession of a “kill list.”

The district said the teacher took the list immediately after finding it and the students were removed from class.
Officials said there is no immediate threat to any students or staff members.
“We will continue to investigate the situation thoroughly and will take appropriate action. We will also be contacting parents of anyone directly related to any threat. Due to students/minors being involved, we will be very limited on additional information that can be shared,” the district said.
