WASHINGTON, D.C. (WVLT) - President Donald Trump has issued a federal pardon to Robert Harshbarger, Jr., the husband of current Tennessee Representative Diana Harshbarger.
This comes more than 12 years after Robert pleaded guilty to distributing a misbranded drug and health care fraud, according to the Department of Justice . He was sentenced to four years in federal prison and ordered to pay more than $800,000 in restitution.
The pardon was handed down on Friday, just days after Trump endorsed Harshbarger for re-election to Congress.
