A pregnant woman has died after suffering a "medical emergency" at her home this morning (November 11). Two air ambulances landed near the scene as emergency crews responded to the incident shortly before 11am on Tuesday.
The woman, aged in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family were taken to hospital with assistance from Merseyside Police. Paramedics were called to a home on Highsted Road in Kirby, Merseyside, at 10.55am.
Merseyside Police confirmed they were called to the scene, near Headbolt Lane railway station, by the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) following reports of an urgent medical incident. The force has since asked people not to engage in online speculation about the incident, and confirmed the woman's death was being treated as "non-suspici
