LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Temperatures typically at this time of the year are running in the lower 50s, but we’ve warmed past that in Lincoln starting today.

That trend is set to continue for almost another handful of days toward the weekend.

Temperatures Tuesday afternoon were flirting with 70° despite a north to northwesterly breeze. Temperatures were running about 30-35° warmer than this time on Monday!

Following that, anticipate a comfortable evening for a walk or yardwork.

Tonight under clear skies, temperatures are expected to fall down to around freezing, if not just above. Winds will remain light through the overnight.

A dry frontal passage this evening will knock temperatures back on Wednesday by only a few degrees. Other than that, no precipitation is expected for several more
