CHARLES TOWN - When Jefferson started the football season with four straight losses, many people might have written the team off.

That wasn't the case for the players and the coaching staff, who continued to put in the work and take it one game at a time. In an impressive turnaround, the Cougars finished the regular season with six straight wins, its most recent victory a 48-0 rout of county rival Washington on Friday.
