The latest drawing comes amid a record-breaking drought without a jackpot winner. This will be the 39th drawing since the last jackpot hit in late June -- topping the game's previous record streak of 37.

The jackpot has climbed to the eighth-largest figure in Mega Millions history at an estimated $900 million. A potential winner would also have a cash option of $415.3 million.
