CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A man who previously worked for Lowcountry attorney David Aylor, who died in 2023, has agreed to plead guilty on drug charges.

Federal documents show Levi Miles signed the guilty plea last week to two counts of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl and oxycodone. The document was filed Monday.

The documents state the distribution of the controlled substance by Miles resulted in the death of the victim identified as “DFA.”

Prosecutors have not confirmed whether DFA refers to Aylor, whose full name was David Fletcher Aylor. Aylor died in January 2023, and the Charleston County Coroner’s Office ruled his manner of death as accidental and said he died from “mixed drug toxicity.”
