The Google app’s legacy voice search is finally getting a UI update, as the tech giant shifts towards a design style akin to Search Live.

Originally, the search query featured the familiar four-dot look, a staple of Google’s branding. Now, it will look like the new Gemini Live UI branding, with some changes to the animations and overall responsiveness.

As noted by both Android Central and 9to5Google , the ‘G’ logo is much more centred than before, and a prompt at the top that reads “What’s on your mind?” eventually disappears to reveal the transcript of what the user said. The waveform from the four dots has now been replaced by an arc (similar to the Live Search arc) that pulsates with the user’s speech.
